This page contains the DICOM specifications for qCT.

The Modality field in your DICOM file's metadata must be CT. Our API only accepts DICOM files with this value, which should be set by your system before upload.

Number of Slices	More than 100
Modality	CT
Minimum Z-Axis Coverage	200 mm
Maximum Z-Axis Coverage (Configurable)	600 mm
Image Patient Orientation	Axial
File Format	Valid DICOM format
DICOM	Valid Lung NCCTs
Convolution Kernel	Smooth Kernel (Not Bone or Sharp etc.)
Body Part Imaged	Chest or Lung

Scans that contain the following elements will be excluded from processing:

• Post-operative defects

• Metal artifacts

• Excessive motion artifacts

• Improperly ordered slices

• Missing slices
